Our children are like sponges when they’re young. Whatever we teach them, will be absorbed and more often than not, retained even in adulthood.
So, is it not important for us as parents to make sure that our little one’s choose the right path and make us proud today and in the brightest future that awaits them?
We should always believe in the importance of early stage learning, and at the forefront of important lessons is the act of kindness.
Kindness is more than deeds. It’s an attitude, a lifestyle, an expression. It is anything that lifts another person. It is a language of peace, that if we teach our children, they will use it to create a better tomorrow.
Children watch us and learn. More than what you tell them, they learn by watching, and by what they’re exposed to. Let us start with the small gestures. When your child comes back from school, instead of asking them how many marks they got, ask them how many acts of kindness did they show.
A child who knows kindness, will grow up to be an adult to possess the same sensitivity.
Let’s try to make the world a better place. Let’s start with ourselves.
Warm regards and positive vibes
